Learn to Skate/Learn to Play
Medfield Learn to Play Hockey(LTP)/Learn to Skate(LTS) is a fun instructional program which focuses on skating as well as basic hockey skills. The program is open to those who are new to the ice as well as those with skating experience who are looking to continue to develop their skating and hockey skills.
MYH coaches along with the help of MHS Girls Varsity Hockey players will have the newcomers up on their skates in no time. This is a fun introduction to the ice and to the game of hockey.
Ages
Open to boys and girls at least 4 years of age.
When
All session are held on Saturday afternoon at 4pm at Norfolk Arena.

What is the required equipment for the Learn to Play Program?
The required equipment for the Learn to Play Program is a hockey helmet with face cage, shin pads, elbow pads, hockey pants, hockey gloves, hockey skates, hockey stick & mouth guard. In addition to the required equipment, shoulder pads and neck guard are suggested.
Session 1: Fall 2023
9-week session, Saturdays at 4pm at Norfolk Arena:
- October 21st, 28th
- November 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
- December 2nd, 9th, 16th
Cost is $185 for the 9-week session.
Session 2: Winter 2024
10-week session, Saturdays at 4pm at Norfolk Arena:
- January 6, 13, 20, 27
- February 3, 10, 24
- March 2, 9, 16
(There is no session on Feb 17th)
Cost is $200 for the 10-week session.
Winter 2024
Registration is open for Winter Learn to Skate/Learn to Play.
