Learn To Play Hockey/Learn to Skate Registration is Open

LTS/LTP is a fun instructional program which focuses on skating as well as basic hockey skills for kids born between 1/1/2012 and 12/31/2017.  The program is open to those who are new to the ice as well as those with skating experience who are looking to continue to develop their skating and hockey skills.

MYH coaches along with the help of MHS Girls Varsity Hockey players will have the newcomers up on their skates in no time. This is a fun introduction to the ice and to the game of hockey.

House League Open House

House League will officially kick off on Friday, October 22 at 5 PM at Norfolk and will run through the end of March.   Curious if House League is a fit for your child?  Join us for an open practice on Friday, October 8 at 5 PM at Norfolk.  This session is free of charge.  If you think you might like to attend, please email Kevin O'Keeffe at   so we have a rough idea of numbers.

House League is our introductory hockey program open to ages 4-8 (with possible exceptions for kids older than that).  The expectation for House Leaguers is that they have basic skating ability but they do not need to have any hockey experience.  The practices are run similar to a Learn to Play program, with a focus on fundamental hockey skills.  The games are half-ice games that are either 3 v. 3 or 4 v. 4.  The idea is that after a season or two of House League, players will be ready for the mite or squirt travel teams (depending on age).    There will be one practice and one game per week, with practices usually at 5 PM on Fridays and games at 5 PM or 6 PM on Saturday.  All events are at Norfolk Arena.   You can register for House League here.
