posted 06/19/2009 USA Hockey now requires all coaches and players to register directly with USA Hockey and provide their registration number to their in-town programs. Registration with USA Hockey is required to play Medfield Youth Hockey. We have a NEW USA Hockey registration process:
- Players and coaches register themselves with USA Hockey (this is different from last year)
- Beginning 5/1/09 they need to complete a NEW registration directly with USA Hockey (all registrations before that date are not valid - it costs $30.00 to register)
- Our online payment system will not consider a tuition payment complete without a NEW USA Hockey registration number
- You only need to register with USA Hockey once per player or coach. If your child plays on multiple teams and he/she is already registered with USA Hockey through that program, then you just need to provide MYH the USA Hockey registration number.
So the process…
1. Have your credit card ready.
3. Place your mouse over ‘Membership’ on the top right of the page and select ‘Register Online’.
4. Select ‘Ice Players and Coaches’ and proceed with registration
6. Go to the MYH home page and from menu picks on left select ‘Edit My Account’. Log in with email address and password. If you forget your password leave it blank and submit the login… your password will be emailed to you.
7. Select each of your players who you have registered for the 2009-2010 season and enter their USA Hockey Number in the field labeled ‘USA Hockey Confirmation #’.
8. Hit ‘Submit’ to validate the number.
**Please note that it is extremely important that you complete this process so that MYH has your USA Hockey registration number. A valid registration number obtained through the USA Hockey registration process MUST be entered to your player’s information in the MYH database. Failure to do so will prohibit us from allowing your player on the ice come September.
